La Lliga

When you’ve sacrificed everything for your addiction, how do you begin to bring back together the pieces of your life?

Football is glamour and money, glory and adoration. Synonymous with salvation, it creates modern gods and inspires the majority to dream.
For the players in La Lliga, 90 minutes a week on a concrete pitch is a chance simply to be somebody; to play a part in a team; to be valued and to value others.
They may be the offcuts of society, but on the pitch they connect to the dreams of millions and forget weary monotony of their lives on the street.

For some of the players this league could be a stepping-stone to finding a roof and a job, for others it is merely the punctuation in a life sentence.
